FREE FRIDA is a tribute to Frida Kahlo, whom I admire not only for her artistic work, but also as a symbol of social struggle. Always defiant against a system that imposed many limitations, especially on women, Frida is a global icon and a source of pride for all Mexicans.

About Pano
Pano Betancourt Falcó
Graphic designer, illustrator and visual artist.
He studied fine arts at La Esmeralda (ENPEG - National School of Painting, Sculpture and Engraving) at the National Center for the Arts, INBA, Mexico City.
From 2002 to 2008 he moved to Barcelona, Spain, where he won a Laus Award from the AGD-FAD Barcelona in 2005.
His work has been published in various media, notably in the book ESC, dedicated to emerging graphic design studios in Spain, published by Actar, Barcelona.
He is currently powerfully resuming his art and illustration work in a freer ecosystem that allows for a fully personal expression of his talent, with a focus on his monochromatic line work and, within it, the strength, minimalism and forcefulness of his portraits that convey deep emotion. His art is considered a hybrid between cybernetic technologies and gestural expression — an artist who draws using current technology with mastery of traditional techniques.
